Want to learn more about aging in place?

Published by Sarah Bradbury, April 05, 2016.

Sheridan College Institute for Technology and Advanced Learning is currently in the process of exploring the viability of a new program that might appeal to interior designers, architects and other professionals involved in designing for the built environment.

In order for Sheridan to better gauge the interest of potential applicants, they would appreciate you taking the time to complete a brief, online survey.

Click here to fill out the survey!

Your responses will help them determine whether this program should proceed with development. If you have any questions or require clarification around this please the survey administrator, Petra Bennett.

The timing of this fully online Ontario College Graduate Certificate program entitled ‘Aging in Place Design Specialist’ coincides with two trends: the growth of an aging population whose share of the country’s total population is surpassing the proportional share of 15 to 24 year olds; and a housing stock in need of modification to better accommodate the changing needs of this aging population.
